Martin Luther King Historical Park
This museum and park commemorates the life, work and legacy of the leaders of the Civil Rights Movement. The center, which occupies several blocks in Sweet Auburn, the center of Black Atlanta - includes the birthplace of Martin Luther King, where he also spent most of his life. World of Coca Cola
Coca-Cola was discovered in 1886 by pharmacist John S. Pemberton in downtown Atlanta. Learn all about the famous drink Coca Cola at the popular World of Coca Cola museum (larger than 30,000 m2). Look behind the scenes in a 4D simulation, invent your own Coca Cola recipe and of course there is also a testing room where you can taste over 100 Coca Cola varieties from around the world. A great outing for young and old.

Atlanta Botanical Garden
The Atlanta Botanical Garden is immediately adjacent to Piedmont Park in the heart of Georgia's state capital. Covering an area of about 12 hectares, it features 13 different gardens, several greenhouses and a treetop walk. Highlights include a visit to the "Edible Garden" where fruit and vegetable plants are grown decoratively. Their use is also demonstrated by top chefs, who prepare seasonal dishes here on weekends from May to October. The "Children's Garden" has been created especially for young guests, where they can not only learn all kinds of interesting facts about plants, but also play on various playground equipment.
Georgia Aquarium
Opened in 2005, the Georgia Aquarium at Pemberton Place in Atlanta is the world's largest aquarium and houses more than 100,000 animals from 500 species. The city of Atlanta owes this unique attraction primarily to a $200 million donation from Bernard Marcus, founder of the American home improvement chain Home Depot. The animals can be seen in five themed areas - Georgia Explorer, Tropical Diver, Ocean Voyager, Cold Water Quest and River Scout - covering an area of 81,000 square meters. The Georgia Aquarium's main attractions include four young whale sharks, three belugas and two manta rays.
Six Flags over Georgia
Most of the Six Flags theme parks are known primarily for their variety of fast-paced rides and attractions rather than theming, but Six Flags over Georgia, which opened in 1967, has a reputation as one of the most beautiful theme parks. Enter through an old South Promenade, with old cobblestones and large pavilions. In the meantime, Six Flags over Georgia has also greatly upgraded its roller coasters, receiving its eleventh roller coaster, Goliath, in 2006.
